COMMAND YOUR BRAND – Jeremy Slate Interview

 

Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to welcome you another episode of the Kingdom Crossroads Podcast!  We are so blessed that you join us today…because I have something special lined up for you today!

On today’s program, you are going to learn how to “Command Your Brand.”  Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has a brand that you are reflecting at all times to the public. I don’t care if you are a housewife going to Wal-Mart for diapers… or a CEO of a major corporation going to meet clients at the golf course – you are projecting your brand!

If you show up at the golf course in old, torn, wore out golf clothes and are carrying around a 1980’s set of Pings…you are projecting  a brand in the eyes of who you are meeting.

If you show up at Wal-Mart wearing pajama bottoms and house slippers, and it’s 3pm…you are projecting your brand…amen!

Today’s guest is Jeremy Slate. Jeremy Ryan Slate is the founder of the Create Your Own Life Podcast, which teaches other entrepreneurs how to create life on their own terms. He studied literature at Oxford University, and is a former champion power lifter turned new media entrepreneur. Jeremy specializes in using podcasting and new media to create celebrity status for himself and others and was ranked #1 in iTunes New and Noteworthy and #26 in the business category.

Jeremy was named one of the top 26 podcasters for entrepreneurs to listen to in 2017 by CIO Magazine and a Millennial Influencer to follow in 2018 by Buzzfeed.  The “Create Your Own Life Podcast” has been downloaded, I believe, almost half a million times!  AMEN!  We aren’t there yet…but we are on the way, Praise God… Jeremy is also a featured writer for Influencive and Business.com. Jeremy, thank you for taking the time to come on our program today!

Ok, Jeremy, I’m  going to have you fill in the details…because the first question I always ask is this:  Tell us , who is “Jeremy Slate?”

Tell us what happened to you at age 19 in the hospital?

Your mother had a debilitating stroke when you were just 24 years old…you are just coming back from your medical problem – and then this happened…

How did your Faith in God grow as a result of that?

How did that shape what you are doing right now?

When you first had the idea for starting your podcast – what was the goal you had in mind? What was the ONE THING you were looking for by traveling down that road?

How can podcasting help someone or some company, to “build their brand?”

Tell us about the moment when you realized your podcast had “taken off?”  Was it a certain number of downloads; or was it when a particular person was interviewed; what was that one moment you realized “this is my calling.”

Tell us about your “Command Your Brand Media” program. How do you help those seeking to establish their brand, grow their brand, and what you call, “Create Their Celebrity.” What does that mean?

I don’t expect you to give away your marketing secrets…but how can an average person who is just starting out get that “PR” that will help them to grow?

When you say “Digital Media,” are you referring only to audio podcasting or can video podcasts work as well?

What is the one thing you want our listeners to take from your interview today?

Do you have any books published or are you working on one right now?

TS Wright is the President of Thend Mission and the author of the God Centered Concept. He is also the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and the God Centered Concept Podcast, as well as the host of the God Centered Concept TV Show. For the past thirty-three years, he has been involved in Christian ministry, including teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and colleges. Throughout his career, he has worked with students, athletes, and adults from all walks of life.

Wright has engaged with numerous Christian organizations, including but not limited to CRU, FCA, and various outreach and church-affiliated ministries. Ordained in Christian ministry, he is both a biblical and historical scholar, with a focus on discipleship, biblical truth, prophecy, and historical theology. In 2016, the Lord called him to start writing, and in 2019, he received another series of visions that would guide him to this point.

In 2023, he was inspired to launch the God Centered Concept Podcast. Through divine intervention, he found Pastor Bob and became a frequent guest on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. He took ownership of that podcast in 2025 and is now its voice. That same year, he also started the God Centered Concept TV Show. Through these podcasts and TV show, TS Wright is spreading the Gospel across five continents.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
