Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to welcome you to the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast for today!  We have something special for you today…

Let me tell you just a little bit about our guest today. Dr. Dee Stokes was on our program WAYYYY BACKKK a few years ago. Episode 61 and 62…that was over 400 episodes ago!  Glory to God!

Dr. Dee Stokes is a spiritual leader and advisor who focuses on ministry, purposeful leadership and Kingdom Education in an effort to “Build Influential People Who Change the World.” She spent 18 years as a college level basketball coach before answering the call of God on her life for ministry. Her dreams and desires then shifted from winning college basketball championships to winning souls for the Kingdom of God!  Amen!

Before going into ministry, she worked for institutions such as University of Alabama; Texas A&M, Winthrop University and the University of Nebraska as an assistant coach. She was the head coach of East Carolina University, Winston-Salem State University and Southeastern University. She was also an Assistant Professor of Education at Southeastern.  She is currently an adjunct at Belhaven University in their Online Sports Administration and Leadership Programs, all while serving in her local church and as the President and CEO of Dee Stokes Ministries!  Glory to God!

Ok, Dee, just to catch everybody up, let me ask you this. In your own words, tell us, “Who is Dee Stokes?”

Last time we talked, you shared with us some of the obstacles you had to overcome in life. Can you refresh that a bit and catch up some of our listeners who have not heard your prior interview?

I know some of our listener’s attention was captured when I mentioned you were a college level basketball coach. How hard was the decision making process to answer the call of God for ministry when you were experiencing success on that level?

Tell me about “Center Court Leadership Training.” What is this all about?

You speak about “Intentionality in Leadership.”  Can you explain a little bit about that?

You do a lot of traveling and speaking. What is one of the major problems you see when speaking that needs to have more exposure and light shed on that problem?

When you were on last time, you had released two books, “Experience Grace: One Woman’s Year Long Journey with God After the Death of Her Mother” and “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inside Basketball” that you wrote in cooperation with Jack Canfield.  Since then, you have release two more books. “Break the Box: A Message of Hope and Inspiration,” volumes One and Two. First, congratulations on the new books. Can you share a little bit about those books.

How does all of this fit into your Life Coaching and Discipleship Training?

You also have your own publishing company, correct?  Are you accepting manuscripts for review?

Dee, it sure was nice to catch up with you. We’ve been talking on and off on Facebook for the last couple of years. I’m so blessed to be able call you a friend and sister in the Lord. I may not comment all of the time on Facebook, but you are one of the people that I definitely follow and keep up with. You are doing some mighty work for the Lord. Keep it up! Amen!

As a matter of fact, GET TWO OF EACH!  Bless someone you love with her books as well. I’ve read them and I can attest it will touch your soul as well.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
