Lisa Stearns has a background as a master educator, connector, author, sports trainer and has run a highly successful networking organization and, on top of all that, is a business coach. She is a life long lover of all things organized and a master “out of the box thinker” able to break down big ideas into manageable, bite sized pieces. Praise God! And on top of all of that, she co-hosts a podcast with her husband of 40+years!
She is the author of the book titled, “A List is Not Enough: A Modern Woman's Guide to Goal Setting, Time Management and Productivity. Lisa, how did you get started doing what you do in helping women?
- Started the only accredited home school curriculum in Maryland
- Started the first “woman only” Toastmasters group
- “Finding Your Voice” woman coaching program
- Small group public speaking program for women
I see you enjoy creating, what you call a “sacred,” or “safe” circles for women to support women in business. What is that and how does it help women to gain confidence to go out and to do greater things?
Tell us about your networking events for women in the Columbia, Maryland area. You’ve doing this for several years now, correct?
