Many people have led lively, energetic, productive lives and have had nary any health problems. Others have been plagued from the beginning with health issues. Still more have lead healthy lives and then been plagued with health issues.

But, despite what group you may have just put yourself in, every single person, myself included, can live a full, productive life – regardless of health problems.

It is GOD living within us that matters. It is living a Spirit filled and Spirit led life that will determine our life fulfillment. I’m not saying it is easy… Pastor Bob has had his health issues ever since my accident in 2007. But God is still God and Jesus is still on the Throne and by His stripes, I am healed. Amen!

That being said, I do know there are now limitations to what I can do that are amplified a bit, if I can call it that, not only in getting older, but due to the accident and subsequent surgeries, etc.

What I’m trying to say is this – JESUS IS LORD. Amen! What He did for one, He will do for you.

Our guest today has also experienced debilitating health issues – and “By His Stripes, she was HEALED!” Amen!

Darci Steiner is an author, speaker and nutritionist. She has served in full-time ministry and assisted with church plants in Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA. Back in 2003, Darci nearly died after a series fall down the stairs in her home. This fall left her seriously disabled. During her recovery, she applied herself and earned a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition and implemented natural remedies into her diet which helped to save her life.

Darci became disabled a second time after a foot injury in 2018. During this time, she authored a award-winning book titled, “Beauty Beyond the Thorns: Discovering Gifts in Suffering.” In this book, Darci speaks about how God uses suffering in our lives to bring about Spiritual Healing.

Let’s go back before the fall down the stairs. Who was Darci Steiner back then?

What kind of injuries did you suffer after falling down the stairs?

How did this impact your life and your family at that time?

In your book, “Beauty Beyond the Thorns,” you share how God provides hope and direction for His people in times of suffering. Can you explain that for us?

How did your injury transform the way you looked at life and God’s plans for you?

You share that “Goals are to help people to understand that suffering is never wasted.” Can you go a little deeper on that for us?

You were able to fully recover from your ordeal through prayer and nutrition and, obviously, lot’s of physical therapy, exercise, etc. Can you share with us how readers of your book will learn how to do the same thing?

There are examples of others in the Bible who suffered greatly. Their stories also serve to inspire us how God can use suffering for His good. Can you share a few of those examples for us?

In your book, “Beauty Beyond the Thorns,” you share 30 gifts you learned while going through your ordeal of disability. Can you share just a couple of them in the time we have left?
