It is a blessing and an honor to have a fellow podcaster with us today…especially one who is doing his part in “Getting the Word Out!” amen!

Jake Starkey is the Founder of Battle Cry Revival and the host of the Break the Box Podcast. He is passionate about helping people reach beyond what they thought was possible – and then helps them to communicate it.

 

He is a graphic designer and an award winning filmmaker as director, editor and cinematographer. Most importantly though – Jake is someone who believes in Jesus Christ and wants people to know about Him.  Through film, design, or even a cup of coffee Jake enjoys discussing God, faith, entrepreneurship and creativity with people.

And with that, welcome to the program, Jake Starkey!

I ask everyone, as we kick off this interview, to answer us the question, “Who IS Jake Starkey?”

Now, let’s start by talking about your podcast…called “Break the Box” – tell us how you decided upon that name….

And you have only been going a few months now, but you’ve had some fabulous interviews… How do YOU think your podcast is doing?

Now, you say, what you went through right in the middle of a hurricane. Tell us about that story…

You also say, that during the recession (I still call it a Depression…but I digress)…that is when you truly committed your life to Christ. How did that come about?

You say you are a “Life Hacker” – what does that mean?

You are a graphic designer AND, what I feel, more importantly, an award winning film maker…You are a director as well….and how do you help others in that type of business?

Is your focus right now on the graphic design business…I know you truly have a passion for talking about God – and that is the purpose of your podcast…but what about the Graphic Design Business – who is your TARGET MARKET – and WHY?

THE LIGHTENING ROUND

1. “If Jesus paid the price for all sins for all time (past, present and future), why can’t we just live like we want if we have asked Him to forgive us?”

2. “Is it possible for a mass murderer to be saved?”

3. “If God is good, why does He allow bad things to happen?”

Last Question: If you woke up tomorrow morning and realized your entire life was a dream…but yet you were able to keep all the experiences and complete memory of everything that happened, what would you do, how would you go about doing it and why?

About TS Wright
TS Wright is the President of Thend Mission and the author of the God Centered Concept. He is also the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and the God Centered Concept Podcast, as well as the host of the God Centered Concept TV Show. For the past thirty-three years, he has been involved in Christian ministry, including teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and colleges. Throughout his career, he has worked with students, athletes, and adults from all walks of life.

Wright has engaged with numerous Christian organizations, including but not limited to CRU, FCA, and various outreach and church-affiliated ministries. Ordained in Christian ministry, he is both a biblical and historical scholar, with a focus on discipleship, biblical truth, prophecy, and historical theology. In 2003 and 2004, he received a series of visions regarding what would become the God Centered Concept. In 2016, the Lord called him to start writing, and in 2019, he received another series of visions that would guide him to this point.

In 2023, he was inspired to launch the God Centered Concept Podcast. Through divine intervention, he found Pastor Bob and became a frequent guest on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. He took ownership of that podcast in 2025 and is now its voice. That same year, he also started the God Centered Concept TV Show. Through these podcasts and TV show, TS Wright is spreading the Gospel across five continents.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
