Have you ever wondered about changing your career…maybe writing a book or a screen play…but you were scared about leaving the secure, quote unquote – REGULAR job?

Well, today’s guest did just that. After twenty-five years in the Information Technology field, Jeff Horton decided enough was enough – and left it all behind to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Not just any writer…but an author of several family friendly books…and TWO screen plays…he has, in all, besides the two screen plays…EIGHT published novels in several different genres – including apocalyptic fiction, science fiction, religious fantasy and some romance thrillers as well.

When Jeff is not writing his next novel, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to church and reading…so not only does he WRITE stuff for others to read – he READS what others have written also! Glory to God…

Explain to me how hard it was to leave the 9-5 of a regular job, regular paycheck, regular benefits and all of the stuff we are SUPPOSED to have…and pursue your dream…

How long did it take you to write your first novel?

What are the names of the screen plays you have written?
Are they in any type of production, etc?

You offer a blend of Christian and Contemporary Christian writing…can explain what that means to our audience?

You have 8 novels…is that correct? Is Heaven’s Oasis your latest one?

Tell us a little bit about Heaven’s Oasis…

Now some of the reviews for Heaven’s Oasis talk about how you intertwine the romance element into the developing plot. Some say that it sounds like some aspects of it may be based upon your own life…is that true?

I guess what we want to know is – what sets your novels apart from the rest of the field?

What is the main topic of interest that you like to write about? Why is that?

As far as advice for up and coming authors…How do you promote your works? It can’t be just through Amazon…there has to be other other avenues of up and coming authors to gain access to…can you give any information on that?

About TS Wright
TS Wright is the President of Thend Mission and the author of the God Centered Concept. He is also the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and the God Centered Concept Podcast, as well as the host of the God Centered Concept TV Show. For the past thirty-three years, he has been involved in Christian ministry, including teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and colleges. Throughout his career, he has worked with students, athletes, and adults from all walks of life.

Wright has engaged with numerous Christian organizations, including but not limited to CRU, FCA, and various outreach and church-affiliated ministries. Ordained in Christian ministry, he is both a biblical and historical scholar, with a focus on discipleship, biblical truth, prophecy, and historical theology. In 2003 and 2004, he received a series of visions regarding what would become the God Centered Concept. In 2016, the Lord called him to start writing, and in 2019, he received another series of visions that would guide him to this point.

In 2023, he was inspired to launch the God Centered Concept Podcast. Through divine intervention, he found Pastor Bob and became a frequent guest on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. He took ownership of that podcast in 2025 and is now its voice. That same year, he also started the God Centered Concept TV Show. Through these podcasts and TV show, TS Wright is spreading the Gospel across five continents.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest. By expanding our message to the NOW TV Network it is our prayer that we can maintain the same level of quality messages and engaging conversations that you have been accustomed to.
