Well, they told us, that’s what technology will do for us! Allow to work faster so we can have more time for those things that are important!

How is that working for you? It seems that technology just enabled us to get more work squeezed into the day! And then, when we fall behind – we have to spend even more time with technology than our family!

There was a time when going out to dinner with friends was enjoyable. The next time you do go out to dinner, just look around and see how many people are STILL on their cell phones! It’s amazing – SAD – but amazing!

We are talking with Mary Tess Rooney about her book, “Heart Value: Feel Appreciated in Ways That Matter and Discover Your True Stride,”

Most of our schedules are set on a daily basis. Get up at this time. Leave for work at this time. Hold our meetings, etc. at a specific time. Get off work, go home, prepare dinner, etc. It’s all on a schedule. Even our interview today is on a schedule, for both of us.

You share in your book that we need to be intentional with our schedules to keep our vibration and energy high. How do we do that?

You also share we are to “prioritize fun to elevate our joy.” But if someone is working for a company and is not able to “set their work schedule” – they are required to show up at a specific time and leave no earlier than a specific time and achieve the required results in a specific time frame. How can they use the information you just provided with being intentional with our schedules, prioritizing fun and not work?

Mary, this has been so interesting. Before we close, tell us about your podcast, “True Stride.”

You have over 100 episodes – congratulations! I know that is a huge milestone! What have you learned, in relation to what we’ve been talking about today, through your 100+ episodes that reinforces what we have talked about in referencing your book?
