JOURNEY OF A CHRISTIAN DAD – DAN LUIGS PT 2

When you are single, you only worry about you. Once you are married, you start to think about how you can bless your wife (or husband if you are a woman listening to this). Then, when you become a father, it suddenly dawns on you that you have a FAMILY.  

I can remember thinking, at the ripe old age of 19, that I was married and a DAD!  I was still a teenager! I was still trying to find my way and now, I had a family that was looking to ME to be a provider and to be a leader. And, I may add, I was NOT born again at that time (and was not born again for many years from that time, sad to say).

But, what do you do when that realization comes? What do you do when your family is now looking to you to be the leader?

That is what we will be discussing today with my guest, Dan Luigs. Dan is US Army Veteran, praise God. 

Dan is a coach for the Accelerate Mastermind Group. He is on the advisory board for the Good Dad Project and has been featured on the Good Dad Podcast. Dan is also an insurance salesman at “The Insurance Store” located in Chesterfield, Missouri and is a leader in insurance sales through using referrals. And he is the host of the “Journey of the Christian Dad Podcast!” Praise God!

Part of your story is how you went from a high income job to no income at all. I can relate to that situation 100%.  That sounds just like my past. So, how did that shape what you are doing today?

Growing up, you believed the mom’s in the family had the responsibility of being the Spiritual authority in the home. What made you believe that?

What made you realize that you needed be the Spiritual leader in the family and home?

How difficult was it for you to start out sharing your Faith? 

What do you recall as that pivotal moment when you decided you were going to share your Faith and if that caused a rift, so be it?

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
