Mr. Productivity – Mark Struczewski Pt 1

Have you ever felt overwhelmed at everything you have to do on a daily basis. I know I have. Here is an example of my daily schedule – feel free to plug in your daily routine, this is just my average day. Up at 5am. Daily devotional time until about 630am. Take the dogs for a walk, back by 715am. Coffee and news until 8am. Then any personal appointments. Get ready for and conduct my podcast interviews (such as this one). In the afternoon, I am working on the websites (yes that was plural); editing files for the podcast; editing files for the radio station; answering emails; calling clients; prepping and loading the radio station files; running any personal errands; and that takes me to dinner time. After dinner, it’s back into the office to finish anything that still needs to be handled and – maybe, if I still have time – begin working on the next days activities. This goes until about 9pm when I then relax for a couple of hours with my wife and, dogs and the TV – before we go to bed and it starts all over again.

Sounds simple. It’s a routine. BUT – what happens when something unexpected pops up!

I’m sure your daily schedule is just as hectic. And I know you go through those days when THINGS happen and upsets everything you’ve been working on.

Well, I’ve got good news for you!  Today, as our guest, we have MR PRODUCTIVITY here to talk to us about handling these productivity challenges!  Mark Struczewski is known as “Mr Productivity.” He is a productivity expert, speaker and online trainer that works with executives and CEO’s to help them gain control of their time by taming those distractions. This allows them to feel less of that “overwhelm” symptoms and to achieve a sense of freedom and to enjoy their lives.

Mark has a productivity themed podcast called “The Mark Struczewski Podcast,” that has OVER 435 episodes!  Praise God! In his time with us today, he will share with you some strategies on how to be more productive in this distraction filled world. In addition, Mark is, in his own words, “Sold Out For Jesus!” Praise God!

Help me welcome to the program, Mark Struczewski!  Mark, it is so good to have take time out of your busy schedule to join us today.

Now, the first question I ask every guest is this. Other than that short bio I just read, tell us in your own words, “Who is Mark Struczewski?”

Mark, how in the world did you get involved in becoming a “Productivity Expert?”  And, while your answering that, tell us what a Productivity Expert does!

I can relate. You heard the example of my day. That is not every day, but I would say 75% of them. Yet, when those distractions come, they truly do upset the entire day. You have identified 5 major distractions that affect just about all of us. Can you tell us what they are and how they affect us?

Social

Email

People

Entertainment

US (ourselves)

I know you could probably focus on many different areas, why did you decide to focus most of your attention on “distractions?”

I know I have had to cut back my social media time. I’m probably on there now about 15 minutes two to three times per day. I try to limit it to twice per day, but there are times I jump on to either message someone or I get an email that someone messaged me. But I found myself, a few months back, getting hooked into social media for 2-3 hours and not even realize it.  Do you find that is common occurrence? Or am I the weird one?

What about email? That can be as distracting as social media.

If someone wanted to reach out to you, ask a question or maybe even do an interview such as this, how can they get in touch with you?

Folks, who out there does not want to be more productive? Not just in your job, but LIFE itself. There is not any area of your life that cannot be improved upon. Not one. From school to work, from recreation activities to church and bible study time. You can improve and become more productive. I encourage you to reach out to Mark and allow him to help you. It is not every day you get an opportunity to contact someone that can actually help you to become more productive!  Praise God!  Reach out to him!  The links are below!

About your host

Profile picture for Robert Thibodeau

Robert Thibodeau

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
