Selfless Love – Bill Hutcheson pt 1

Is something missing in your marriage? Do you look longingly at the early days of your marriage, wishing you still had that spark? Have you hoped for, begged for, even prayed to God for a return to a brighter, more passionate relationship? You wish you knew the words to pray but you just don’t know what to say – or even if it is possible?

My guest today is Bill Hutcheson who has been helping established couples, newlyweds and those about to newlyweds, to find true happiness, through God, with their marriages. He has been doing this for about 38 years or so!  Praise God.

Bill has also written a book titled, “Marriage Happiness is Possible” and he is about to release a new book in April of 2020 titled, “Marriage Maximized: The Guide to a Purposeful and Passionate Relationship.”

After 38 years of helping nearly-weds and established couples, Bill Hutcheson is here to share with you how to have the happy relationship God intended for your marriage.

Help me welcome to the program, Bill Hutcheson. Bill, thank you for taking the time to join us today!

The first question I always ask is this. Other than that short introduction I just read, tell us in your own words, “Who is Bill Hutcheson?”

Now, first, congratulation on the first book and even more congratulations on the book coming out in April of 2020.

You’ve been doing this for some time now…going on 40 years soon. In all of that time, what is the #1 problem that seems to destroy marriages?

Statistics bear out that probably less than 10% of the population, married or otherwise, attend church services more than a couple times per year. Have you seen the pattern of increased marriage problems by those who do not attend church regularly as compared to those who do?

You state that “Happiness is NOT the goal in marriage. Couples must realize both, the Divine purpose for marriage and the Heavenly passion for marriage. They do this by learning to love selflessly as God loves us.”  Explain what all of that means…

Tell us about the connection between “Selfless Love” and “Selfless Happiness.”

You have a passion, a Godly passion, to help people have a Biblical marriage. How to do you help a couple pull together a marriage that is falling apart?

You say a car needs routine maintenance to run the way it was designed and marriages work the same way. Explain what it is you mean by that

About TS Wright
TS Wright is the President of Thend Mission and the author of the God Centered Concept. He is also the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and the God Centered Concept Podcast, as well as the host of the God Centered Concept TV Show. For the past thirty-three years, he has been involved in Christian ministry, including teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and colleges. Throughout his career, he has worked with students, athletes, and adults from all walks of life.

Wright has engaged with numerous Christian organizations, including but not limited to CRU, FCA, and various outreach and church-affiliated ministries. Ordained in Christian ministry, he is both a biblical and historical scholar, with a focus on discipleship, biblical truth, prophecy, and historical theology. In 2003 and 2004, he received a series of visions regarding what would become the God Centered Concept. In 2016, the Lord called him to start writing, and in 2019, he received another series of visions that would guide him to this point.

In 2023, he was inspired to launch the God Centered Concept Podcast. Through divine intervention, he found Pastor Bob and became a frequent guest on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. He took ownership of that podcast in 2025 and is now its voice. That same year, he also started the God Centered Concept TV Show. Through these podcasts and TV show, TS Wright is spreading the Gospel across five continents.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
