Sharing Your Faith in All That You Do

Sean Mize Interview pt 1

Have you ever felt like there was something you were “supposed” to do in your life . . . but life has gotten in the way and you just haven’t done it? Perhaps you felt you needed to concentrate on “making a living” and maybe gave too much credence to that area of life rather than sharing the Gospel.

You’ve heard me say that not everyone is called into the Five-fold Ministry. But EVERY BELIEVER is called to do “something.” That could be running a business, even secular in nature. But running it using Christian principles and honoring God in the process. Think Chick Filet.

It could be doing a myriad of different things. Each person has a unique gift and a unique calling that will complement that gift.

My guest today is Sean Mize, author of the book, “Anyone Can Coach.” Sean is a Christian productivity, focus and achievement expert who teaches high-level achievement strategies and online monetization methods. He has written various e-books as well as his “Anyone Can Coach” book. He has recorded numerous audio and video products, created various coaching programs, coached hundreds of clients, including yours truly, and has helped numerous people achieve their goals of having a successful business.

But, through it all, he has shared his Faith as well. He makes no excuses for his Faith in God. It is part of who he is and it comes out in almost all of his training programs. Which is one of the main reasons I have been connected with him for several years now.

Sean Mize ministers to the Christian community to help you to achieve financial freedom. He has a special calling – a special anointing – from God which is to use the internet to teach others. In his experience, Sean feels that, though there is a good bit of online information showing people how to make millions, in actual fact many of these teaching methods are just scams and misinformation.

He feels that all the get-rich-schemes you read about online are promoted mostly by liars and con artists. People who have no thought nor care about your spiritual wellbeing.

However, in spite of all these false promises and schemes that exists online, Sean says there IS a way to build an ethical business online. And, at the same time, honor the Lord with your online business by helping and ministering to other people. And he encourages people, just you, to not be shy about sharing their Faith. Let it be known that “is who you are.”

I interviewed Sean about his Faith Based calls a little over a year ago. His Faith Based calls give so much encouragement to people that tune in. I really enjoy them and look forward to them as well. He ministers to me through those calls! Praise God.

Help me welcome back to the program, my friend, Sean Mize. Sean, thank you for taking the time to come back on the podcast today!

Ok Sean, other than that brief intro I shared, tell us in your own words, “Who is Sean Mize?”

Now, I want to jump right into the heart of what I wanted to talk about today. You have been doing this for what, over a dozen years. Correct?

To lay the background for my first question for you, let me explain a brief bit of where I’m coming from and why I’m doing what I do.

Everyone has heard my story, so I won’t go into it. But when I was formally retired from law enforcement, and had the radio ministry going, there was little to no income coming in. It was basically all expenses.

At the same time, I adjusting to how to live on a reduced income of about 50% of what I used to make. Add in the fact that I was recovering from surgeries, etc., I could not just go out and get a “regular job.” If I could have done that I could have stayed a cop!

But, while just sitting at the computer, I was trying to figure out a way to make some extra money. So, if you Google, “Make money online” – well, you can imagine how many things popped up. And I was suckered into several that, well – cost me and didn’t make me anything. I’ll just leave it there.

Somehow, someway, the Lord brought your website across my path about four years ago. And when I got on your email list, there was something different about you. You shared your Faith. That was a BIG connection for me.

It took me a few years to get where I am today in the development of our Podcast Training Program, etc. But it was YOUR FAITH IN GOD that, even when I doubted I could do something on this magnitude, actually kept me connected. And now I Praise God for our connection.

Can you give us a quick background of “why” you started in the online business like you are doing now?

Now, I want to jump into the Faith Based Training. You recently had a 21 Day Challenge focused on Godly Success. And you shared in our training group a big “decision moment” you had been struggling with concerning what you were going to focus on this year. Can you share some of that with our listeners so they get sense of where you are coming from as we continue our discussion?
