The Gathering Storm of Biblical Predictions
Richard Ruhling part 1
Pastor Bob Thibodeau engages in a profound dialogue with Dr. Richard Ruhling, diving deep into the intricate tapestry of biblical prophecy and its implications for current global events. They explore the significance of recent seismic activities, such as the notable earthquake in Thailand, as harbingers of larger, impending crises that echo the prophecies outlined in the Book of Daniel. Dr. Ruhling articulates a compelling narrative connecting geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly involving Iran and Israel, to scriptural predictions, suggesting that these events are not mere coincidences but critical signs that demand attention from believers. The dialogue further probes into the spiritual and moral dimensions of these crises, underscoring the necessity for a collective awakening among faith communities to reclaim their covenantal responsibilities. As they navigate these complex themes, both speakers emphasize the urgency of understanding the biblical foundation underlying contemporary issues, framing it as essential for fostering a more profound engagement with faith in the face of imminent challenges.

Speaker B:Today we're so blessed that you're joining us.
Speaker B:And back with us again is our good friend Dr.
Speaker B:Richard ruling.
Speaker B:As we're going to be discussing Bible prophecy, current events, things coming over the horizon that you need to be aware of because this is dealing with the here and the now and the what's about to happen type thing.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Help me.
Speaker B:Welcome back to the program our good friend, Dr.
Speaker B:Richard Ruling.
Speaker B:Dr.
Speaker B:Ruling.
Speaker B:It is a blessing to be able to talk to you again, brother.
Speaker C:Well, it's, it's mutual.
Speaker C:God designed it that way.
Speaker C:Nothing is parasitic living off of someone else.
Speaker C:We, we.
Speaker C:It's more blessed to give than receive.
Speaker C:And I feel blessed to be with you especially on your ministry here.
Speaker C:God bless you and all your people worldwide.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:So you want, you got some things to share that is going to relate to what we're seeing, things happening right now and matter of fact, that the day of this recording, did you see that massive 7.7 earthquake that just shook Thailand?
Speaker C:I saw a brief note about it.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:Those are signs.
Speaker C:A crescendo of signs.
Speaker C:It's getting louder and louder that big things are coming.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:So what is it that you want to share with us today that you've seen is just over that horizon?
Speaker C:Well, when Christ was asked about the end of the world in Matthew 24, he said to understand the book of Daniel.
Speaker C:And in Daniel's eighth chapter, there's a vision at the time of the end.
Speaker C:It's a conflict between a ram pushing from the Middle East.
Speaker C:I believe it's a Muslim ram pushing from the Middle east and a goat that flies from the west and breaks the horns.
Speaker C:In verse 20 it says the horns of the kings of Media and Persia.
Speaker C:But today you would say Iraq and Iran.
Speaker C:And I actually predicted war with Iraq before 911 based on that.
Speaker C:You know, it took 911 to get us into war, but there were no weapons of mass destruction and so on.
Speaker C:It was a bad situation, leaving men over there and equipment.
Speaker C:So we don't want war with Iran.
Speaker C:What makes the goat angry?
Speaker C:And I'm seeing that it's things that are impending right now that are going to get us into war again.
Speaker C:And I believe that.
Speaker C:And Trump has made a two month ultimatum to Iran.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:And by the way, I think that Trump is supported in scripture more strongly than most people realize.
Speaker C:He should not have had a, a close call in the election.
Speaker C:It should have been hands down for Christians because basically in that vision of the time of the end, there is a goat with a great horn.
Speaker C:In Bible times, they cut off the horn to make a trumpet.
Speaker C:Okay?
Speaker C:And the great Trump is the great horn and it makes the goat great.
Speaker C:Of all things, he wants to make America great.
Speaker C:So that's huge.
Speaker C:But the devil reads the Bible and the devil is trying to sidetrack, derail, get it out of there.
Speaker C: ink the election was stole in: Speaker C:I was watching till after midnight, et cetera.
Speaker C:But they got away with it.
Speaker C:And God had to declare, I think, wait for him to get back in.
Speaker C:And even in spite of assassination attempt, I mean to kill him by one inch, his life was spared.
Speaker C:And of all things, Exodus 29, verse 20.
Speaker C:High priests were anointed with blood on their ear, and kings were sometimes anointed.
Speaker C:And so I, I think, wow, Biblical, how is, how is that?
Speaker B:I haven't caught that one.
Speaker C:Yeah, Amen.
Speaker C:And so I, I see also that wondering about how we get into war.
Speaker C:It's the biblical thing is Bible doesn't put all the answers in one spot.
Speaker C:God could have said everything in the first few pages of the Bible, but it would ruin it for each generation.
Speaker C:God wants everybody looking, seeking, trying to understand his wor word.
Speaker C:And it's here, a little, there a little.
Speaker C:It says in Isaiah 28.
Speaker C:So I'm seeing that, that in Zechariah 14, which is the last chapter before Malachi in the end of the old testament, Zechariah 14, God is going to gather nations against Jerusalem.
Speaker C:Houses will be rifled, women ravished, half the city goes into captivity.
Speaker C:And then the Lord is going to go forth and fight against those nations.
Speaker C:And you know, a lot of people think that the Jews are there for God brought them back and so on, you know, but I think as I look at it, in fact the messianic Rabbi said that 90% of the Jews in Israel have no interest in their spiritual Heritage.
Speaker C:They're just there for free land from the UN and they don't care about God.
Speaker C:And I see God is going to let the Muslims take them out because I think he wants a kingdom of people that are not just Jewish, but Christians who accept Messiah, accept the biblical laws as well, you know, so.
Speaker C:And the Jews have to accept Messiah.
Speaker C:And I'm seeing how that comes again in the events that are going to unfold this coming week and this coming year and so on.
Speaker C:So I would like to.
Speaker C:But I want.
Speaker C:I don't want to spill all the beans at once.
Speaker C:And I want you to hold me to truth and an understanding of it from your perspective.
Speaker C:And so thank you for having.
Speaker C:Having me.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Well, you know, we have this massive upheaval going on in our government right now.
Speaker B:You know, as they're trying to eliminate jobs and all that, that puts more people out on the streets.
Speaker B:You know, they're losing their jobs, their income, and that's going to put undue burden on the people.
Speaker B:So there's this turmoil going on internally right now.
Speaker B:And then, you know, he's.
Speaker B:The tariffs and, you know, doing all this stuff with these other nations that's creating turmoil in their economies.
Speaker B:Then you have the, you know, the issue with, you know, the hooties and all of that stuff taking place, which, you know, resulted in that ultimatum that you heard issued to Iran to get it under control or else.
Speaker B:Then you have, you know, the issue of the nuclear war, I'm sorry, the nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons in Iran and Israel wanting to have some say so in making sure that doesn't happen.
Speaker B:And so we got all these different perspectives of a configuration of happenings right now.
Speaker C:I'd like to just share a little more because sometimes it sounds like speculation, the great horn is the great Trump.
Speaker C:But, you know, that.
Speaker C:That's kind of wild.
Speaker C:But actually the horns were more important than we realize, I think.
Speaker C: And it says in Isaiah: Speaker C:And so if you go to the book of beginnings, Genesis, in the 22nd chapter, Abraham was tested over his willingness.
Speaker C:Did he love his son more than he loved God?
Speaker C:Would he be willing to sacrifice his son?
Speaker C:And at the last minute, if you remember, he was about to sacrifice his son when Abraham, Abraham, don't do it.
Speaker C:And there was a ram caught in a bush.
Speaker C:You remember that story?
Speaker C:Well, George Bush caught the first ram.
Speaker C:That's huge.
Speaker C:That God could pick an imagery to fit the first horn.
Speaker C:And now we have another great horn coming along.
Speaker C:That's going to do the Iran thing.
Speaker C:And I'm seeing that Iran, if they just even understood that, you know, they think that Ishmael was the son that was spared.
Speaker C:But the Bible says Isaac.
Speaker C:And the truth is that as a result of the war with Iraq, Isaac or his grandson, Israel, actually it was Isaac's son was Jacob and Esau, Jacob's name was changed to Israel.
Speaker C:Israel was spared as a result of what happened with the war with Iraq.
Speaker C:And it's going to happen again that Israel, they may attack them and get the unbelieving Jews out.
Speaker C:But I think the, the goat with the ram horn with a big horn is going to spare.
Speaker C:And one more thing, God is not going to leave it fully to trump.
Speaker C:It says, and everybody, you know this by the way, is everybody.
Speaker C:The Jews do not believe John 3:16 and the Muslims don't believe John 3:16 that God gave his only begotten son.
Speaker C:They, they said Quran says Allah has no son.
Speaker C:Well, they get Joel 3:16, which says the Lord will roar from Jerusalem, the heavens and earth shake and the Muslims are going to flee.
Speaker C:Okay, so at first the, the Jews are going to wonder how in the world could God, God must not be around because he's letting Muslims take the city.
Speaker C:No, but then I think a month later, as the days of Noah in May, a big event, just like the, the flood was a huge event.
Speaker C:I believe that the, there will be an earthquake that shakes the whole world when God the Lord roars from Jerusalem.
Speaker C:In another sense, when Amos3.7 says God won't do anything without revealing it.
Speaker C:The next verse tells, I think what he wants to reveal.
Speaker C:The lion has roared, who will not fear?
Speaker C:And I didn't, I had a disconnect.
Speaker C:I didn't know what that meant for years really.
Speaker C:But one day I think the Holy Spirit impressed me that, you know, hey, Revelation 5:5.
Speaker C:Christ is the lion of Judah.
Speaker C:And when he roars, heavens and earth are going to shake.
Speaker C:And it's going to be when the Muslims take the city.
Speaker C:He's the lion of Judah.
Speaker C:He's protecting Judah and Jerusalem there.
Speaker C:And he's going to let the people that have no faith get gone.
Speaker C:But then he's going to get rid of the Muslims.
Speaker C:And by the way, Iran has the fastest growing Christian church in the world.
Speaker C:Probably lots of people turning.
Speaker C:Persecution turns.
Speaker C:People are willing to die for their faith.
Speaker C:And some Muslims are wondering, what does that guy have that I don't have?
Speaker C:You know?
Speaker C:And so I think it's a great opportunity for what's Coming.
Speaker C:And for a kingdom that's going to be not just Jews, but Christians and anybody.
Speaker C:In fact, let me share this with you.
Speaker C:You've heard Handel's Messiah Music at Christmas Time.
Speaker C:I sang in it in high school and again in college.
Speaker C:There's a soloist that sings, speaking before God, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea, the dry land, and the desire of all nations will come.
Speaker C:I believe that's his kingdom.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:And that's what people really want, a fair kingdom.
Speaker C:Not to be taxed, not to send your men into war and kill each other and so on.
Speaker C:And the world could be so much better if we had his kingdom.
Speaker C:And I'm seeing how we get there this time when Jews will get another chance at the 70 weeks.
Speaker C:You remember in Daniel 9, 70 weeks were probation on the Jewish nation.
Speaker C:And when they missed Messiah in 69 weeks, they didn't count the weeks.
Speaker C:They didn't count the sevens.
Speaker C:Historically, they've had a problem counting sevens.
Speaker C:You remember they had a sabbatical year.
Speaker C:They were supposed to rest the land.
Speaker C:They didn't do it.
Speaker C:And so God took them to Babylon for 70 years.
Speaker C:Oh, he said he would punish them seven times over.
Speaker C:So 70 years for 10 years that they didn't.
Speaker C:Seven years of sabbatical years that they didn't do it, which came every seven.
Speaker C:Anyway, I'm seeing that if God roars from Jerusalem at the second Passover, and I call this a 9, 11 Passover in the book of Numbers, verse chapter 9, verse 10, and 11 is a second Passover time.
Speaker C:And I believe it's to test our knowledge of God's word.
Speaker C:Because when God took Israel from Sinai, I'm from Egypt to Sinai.
Speaker C:And he said, if you keep my covenant, you'll be a kingdom.
Speaker C:He later said, return, I'm married to you.
Speaker C:He got a bride, but he got a dumb bride.
Speaker C:He doesn't want that for Christ.
Speaker C:Christ has already been through enough.
Speaker C:And so he wants.
Speaker C:And Christ wants an intelligent bride.
Speaker C: And he said in Matthew: Speaker C:At Passover time, it was a time to eat unleavened bread not made light.
Speaker C:They had to really chew it.
Speaker C:Well, today, preachers just want a light sermon, easy to swallow.
Speaker C:You don't have to chew it, you know.
Speaker C:And so it all sounds good.
Speaker C:But they have not just the preachers.
Speaker B:That's what the believers want, too.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's right.
Speaker C:So I'm seeing that, interestingly, the different wedding parables all fit together to Show a calamity is coming in Matthew 22, the remnant treat the invitation to the wedding feast poorly, and so they get their city burned.
Speaker C:The remnant, by the way, is in the King James Version, verse six, they got.
Speaker C:They scorn the wedding invitation.
Speaker C:And verse seven, the king sends his armies and burns up their city.
Speaker C:Well, I don't know specifically how it can completely apply, but I believe that the church I came from, Seventh Day Adventism, they're going to get their city, Loma Linda, burned because they hijacked the school of Loma Linda to teach pharmacology.
Speaker C:When the founder, Ellen White, wanted natural remedies to train missionaries, but the leaders wanted AMA accreditation.
Speaker C:And the AMA said, you have to teach pharmacology to get it.
Speaker C:And now it's just a regular medical school, you know, with Bible class.
Speaker C:But that's.
Speaker C:If I ate a junk food diet and just took a vitamin, I would still not be healthy.
Speaker C:I try to eat well.
Speaker C:It's the whole deal, you know, and so you can't just edit what you want from God.
Speaker C:It all starts, and in Revelation, 18th chapter, there's a call to come out of Babylon, which I believe is the confused systems of this world.
Speaker C:Educational system today is crazy with sex education and all the transgender this and that.
Speaker C:I wouldn't want to send my child to a public school.
Speaker C:And the whole thing is better if we do it God's way.
Speaker C:And we just need to.
Speaker C:To get back to God fully.
Speaker C:But specifically, the call out of Babylon that I started to mention in Revelation 18, Babylon has fallen.
Speaker C:Come out of her.
Speaker C:Be not partakers of her sins, receive not of her plagues.
Speaker C:And verse 23 says, for by her.
Speaker C:Pharmacia is the Greek word.
Speaker C:Pharmacia were all nations deceived.
Speaker C:Were deceived by pharma and the drugs.
Speaker C:And I have a book, the Truth about the Drug Companies, How They Deceive Us, written by the former editor of the New England Journal of medicine, smart woman, MD.
Speaker C:But she's saying we're being deceived by pharma, you know, the companies.
Speaker C:And we have a good evidence of this in the recent epidemic, I think with bad.
Speaker C:Bad shot.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:And people dying, getting sick and so on.
Speaker C:Not.
Speaker C:Not like it used to be.
Speaker B:They're still getting sick and dying from the shot they took five years ago.
Speaker C:Yes, exactly right.
Speaker C:Their immune system, I think, is messed up bad.
Speaker C:And they don't know.
Speaker C:There are people that think they're fine, but when the next epidemic comes along, they may have problems.
Speaker B:Serious, you know, they're trying to push this bird flu.
Speaker B:Oh, we're going to have a vaccine for that here pretty soon, you know.
Speaker B:And my daughter asked me about it the other day.
Speaker B:I said I'm not taking that thing.
Speaker C:Good for you.
Speaker C:God bless you.
Speaker C:And to your listeners as well, I would say I have an article from nih, National Institutes of Health and they presented evidence of an impaired immune system and carcinogenesis.
Speaker C:In other words, tumor genesis generating it when the immune system's not working.
Speaker C:Well, some pathologists find many more Pap smears are positive now cancer of the colon and young people are popping up heart attacks.
Speaker C:In Seattle, 98% of the people had the shot, but they've had a thousand fold percent.
Speaker C:A thousand fold percent would be ten times as many heart attacks as a result.
Speaker C:So bad overall and need to get back to this.
Speaker C:How do we get to a chance again for the Jews?
Speaker C:If you go from the second Passover of May, I call it a 911 Passover, providing see if an Israelite took a long trip and he couldn't get back to Jerusalem in time for Passover, he was not excused.
Speaker C:Passover meant judgment and we all have to face judgment.
Speaker C:So he was had to keep it a month later in May.
Speaker C:Well that's as the days of Noah.
Speaker C:The flood came in the second spring month.
Speaker C:So counting from Passover in May, seven weeks to, you know, it was 50 days, they would count seven weeks and the day after that, like on a Sunday morning, it was, it was Pentecost.
Speaker C:Well I'm seeing that if we do that biblically with the God's calendar and I can explain a little more later.
Speaker C:The, the I believe there's an implied decree like Daniel 9:25 from a decree to restore and build Jerusalem is 69 weeks to Messiah.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Messiah meaning anointed.
Speaker C:Christ was anointed at his baptism by John, but by the Holy Spirit as well.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:And so, but we will get that opportunity again because Handel's Messiah has things in it.
Speaker C:The there's a song that says I will shake the heavens earth and so on.
Speaker C:And the desire of all nations will come as is his kingdom.
Speaker C:But there's a date given three times in, in that chapter, the ninth month, 24th day is stated in verse 10, 18 and 20.
Speaker C:And so you know, and I believe it's clearly stated that in Haggai's time it was when the foundation of the temple was laid.
Speaker C:Jews are now arguing and debating over a third temple.
Speaker C:But God is not going to let them build a third temple to sacrifice lambs.
Speaker C:When his Lamb.
Speaker C:Isaiah 53, Christ was the Lamb who.
Speaker C:He bore our sins and sorrows.
Speaker C:I think that that's not going to happen.
Speaker C:But the Bible teaches that ye are the temple of God.
Speaker C:His holy Spirit dwells in all who are open to Christ.
Speaker C:And so there is.
Speaker C:There will be an anointing, I believe, of us after 69 weeks.
Speaker C:And that date given in Haggai 2, verse 10, 18 and 20.
Speaker C:Fitz Hanukkah.
Speaker C:The time when they had no oil.
Speaker C:They only had enough for one day, but it lasted eight days.
Speaker C:Well, so if the Jews can somehow get a hold of this, this is another opportunity.
Speaker C:If we see Muslims taking Jerusalem and then a huge earthquake a month later with the 911 timing and hey, we gotta look for Pentecost and count the weeks and be seeking God's blessing.
Speaker C:The Pentecost, really?
Speaker C:I believe in Revelation 11.
Speaker C:It says, Verse 1, Rise, measure the temple.
Speaker C:I believe that's the time of judgment.
Speaker C:And verse three says, I'll give power to my two witnesses, Old and New Testament, for 12, 60 days.
Speaker C:That's three and a half years.
Speaker C:And when they finish their testimony.
Speaker C:And by the way, it says they have power to shut the heavens.
Speaker C:That's Elijah power that I think we get, that we can get at Pentecost.
Speaker C:But if we do the 69 weeks, another anointing.
Speaker C:Elisha power.
Speaker C:Elisha wanted a double portion of Elijah power.
Speaker C:And Elisha did every kind of miracle that Christ did.
Speaker C:Christ turned water to wine.
Speaker C:Elisha turned water to oil for a poor widow that had a debt, that she sold the oil and made money.
Speaker C:Christ raised a dead child, so did Elisha.
Speaker C:Christ healed 10 lepers.
Speaker C:Elisha healed one.
Speaker C:So we can see.
Speaker C:And can you imagine, I'm thinking that this is not about me or you, but 144,000 people in Revelation 14.
Speaker C:For they are said to be virgins.
Speaker C:And if virgins, the Bible explains itself.
Speaker C:They have to be the wise virgins to get in the wedding.
Speaker C:And Luke's wedding parable has more on this than.
Speaker C:Than the other two, because he says, have your loins girded and lights burning.
Speaker C:Be ready when I come and knock, that if you open immediately, you're blessed.
Speaker C:It says, blessed are those servants whom his Lord finds watching.
Speaker C:And by the way, the word watch is only done at Passover.
Speaker C:For Israel, it was a time to be awake.
Speaker C:In Egypt, they were to eat the Passover lamb and leave nothing till morning.
Speaker C:They were awake all night.
Speaker C:In Christ's time, he asked, could you not watch one hour, even but his disciples went to sleep.
Speaker C:I think they lost the kingdom, by the way, in that event, if they had had the strength morally to pray and seek God's help and pray for Christ.
Speaker C:When the Jews came with the Romans, they should have said.
Speaker C:Instead of running and scattering, they should have said, hey, we're going to trial with you.
Speaker C:And supporting him.
Speaker C:When the Jews accused him of going to tear down the temple and build it in three days, they could have said, no, he's talking about his body.
Speaker C:Come out Sunday morning, you'll see.
Speaker C:If they had said that, there would have been witnesses.
Speaker C:They themselves could have prevented the Jews from lying if they were willing to face death.
Speaker C:And the Pentecost could have meant the whole nation in repentance.
Speaker C:And if that was so, they could have had the kingdom, you know, it could have been established.
Speaker C:If they had repented for what they did, instead of 120 hiding in an upper room, the whole nation could.
Speaker C:The world would be so much better today.
Speaker C:And so, you know, I think when the disciples asked Christ in Acts 1, verse 6, Are you going to restore the kingdom?
Speaker C:If it had been me, I said, well, you guys failed me so bad it can't happen, you know.
Speaker C:But Christ, gentle Jesus, he said, it's not for you to know the times or seasons.
Speaker C:But Paul says of the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write for you know perfectly.
Speaker C:He said that in first Thessalonians 5.
Speaker C:And the next verses are phrases that fit Egypt.
Speaker C:How we're going to, I think, come out of Egypt.
Speaker C:God came as a thief.
Speaker C:The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night.
Speaker C:Well, in Egypt, God came as a thief.
Speaker C:He stole their slaves, and nobody saw God at night.
Speaker C:He came as a thief, you know.
Speaker C:And when they were going into the Red Sea, it was peace and safety.
Speaker C:It'll be all right, you know.
Speaker C:But sudden destruction came on them.
Speaker C:So it's a repeat of Israel's Exodus event.
Speaker C:And in Jeremiah 30, verse 11, God says He's going to make a full end of all other nations, but not his kingdom.
Speaker C:So the point is, I don't want to be here in America when the king.
Speaker C:When the full end is made, it's going to be bad news.
Speaker C:I think we have to go to the land of the covenant.
Speaker C:And Trump, get this one now is engraved on a coin in Israel as Cyrus.
Speaker B:I seen that.
Speaker C:Okay?
Speaker B:I seen that.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Well, Cyrus One, he wasn't called One, but Cyrus was so impressed when Daniel showed him his name in Isaiah 45th chapter, verse 1.
Speaker C:With the two gates open because Cyrus didn't know anything about the writings of Isaiah.
Speaker C:But he diverted the river Euphrates into a reservoir and at night marched under the wall to discover two gates open.
Speaker C:And he conquered Babylon with minimal loss of life.
Speaker C:It was an easy piece of cake for him.
Speaker C:And so when he saw his name there, that God wanted him also though to help rebuild the temple.
Speaker C:In the previous verse is Isaiah 44, verse 28, I think thereabouts.
Speaker C:Anyway, he freed Israel and help pay their way, help them get back to Israel with a donation for their temple.
Speaker C:And I'm seeing that Trump as Cyrus 2.
Speaker C:In Revelation 14, sorry, 12th chapter, verse 14, it says to the woman who represented God's people.
Speaker C:In Revelation 12:1, a woman closes a light standing on the moon.
Speaker C:I think she has a lunar understanding of the calendar, not the Catholic Gregorian calendar that we're using today, but if you use God's calendar and I'll send you a link for it, you can count the 70 weeks from Pentecost and we will end up at the important dates that God designated for our anointing.
Speaker C:I think at the end of those 69 weeks.
Speaker B:Hey folks, Pastor Bob here.
Speaker B:What a time for today's portion of this great interview with Dr.
