I have a very important topic for you today…and one that is very near and close to my heart…one which affects me as well as millions of people each and every day – and that is how to cope with chronic pain…be it from injury, as in my case, or from hereditary diseases or any number of a myriad of causes…one which many people have a hard time understanding – even very close family members…
On the line with us today is Barby Ingle from the International Pain Foundation…Barby is a former model and professional cheerleader. She seemed to have it all. And then things changed. Her life become totally focused on survival. Chronic pain ravaged her body. Doctors had no clue as to why.
They stuck, prodded, probed and examined numerous times. All sorts of test (and can I relate to that). Then, one day, Barby decided enough was enough and SHE became her own “Chief of Staff” for her medical team.  And I will let her explain that as we get into the interview.
Barby has been on our program a few times in the past and the information she shares blessed so many of our listeners, I’m sure it will do the same today as well.  She is also the author of several books dealing with this issue, such as “From Wheels to Heals,” which is the first one I read, getting ready for our first interview back in 2018! Praise God! This is part two of what turned out to be a great, two part interview!
Your foundation helps people from all over the world find support services and resources to help their conditions. Can you go over a few of the most popular services?
This next topic is a big one.
What about managing pain killers? I know the laws and medical practices concerning prescription pain killers have changed since the last time we talked. Is it still a major issue?

This is the type of situation where your foundation could provide the resources to help someone in a situation similar to what I went through (and, I was reading articles, etc. from your website while going this ordeal myself).
Barby, you’ve outlined a lot of this in your book, “From Wheels to Heals,” correct?

Barby, it’s amazing what you can do when you make up your own mind, put your foot down and tell the doctor that “this is the way it is going to be.”

Folks, pain is real. Pain is, well, painful. Some people do well bearing with pain. Some pain is the result of an injury and can be fixed. But there are times when pain is present and nobody knows why.
We are talking about physical pain here. But that physical pain can definitely become psychological pain very quickly. You cannot deal with this yourself.
International Pain Foundation is here to help you. They will provide you with the resources to learn more about your conditions. They will provide you with the resources to get help. They will provide you with the resources to find  someone you can talk with. They are here for you.
Barby Ingle founded this great organization because these resources were not in one centralized location when she needed them the most.

About TS Wright
TS Wright is the President of Thend Mission and the author of the God Centered Concept. He is also the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and the God Centered Concept Podcast, as well as the host of the God Centered Concept TV Show. For the past thirty-three years, he has been involved in Christian ministry, including teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and colleges. Throughout his career, he has worked with students, athletes, and adults from all walks of life.

Wright has engaged with numerous Christian organizations, including but not limited to CRU, FCA, and various outreach and church-affiliated ministries. Ordained in Christian ministry, he is both a biblical and historical scholar, with a focus on discipleship, biblical truth, prophecy, and historical theology. In 2003 and 2004, he received a series of visions regarding what would become the God Centered Concept. In 2016, the Lord called him to start writing, and in 2019, he received another series of visions that would guide him to this point.

In 2023, he was inspired to launch the God Centered Concept Podcast. Through divine intervention, he found Pastor Bob and became a frequent guest on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. He took ownership of that podcast in 2025 and is now its voice. That same year, he also started the God Centered Concept TV Show. Through these podcasts and TV show, TS Wright is spreading the Gospel across five continents.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
