The Journey – David Fiensy

The Journey – David Fiensy

There is no doubt that the best way to learn about Christ and what it means to live a Christian life, is to learn from the Bible. But, for the majority of us, we do not have the time nor that expertise to do Biblical research on a level that allows us to truly do a “deep dive” on Biblical studies. Life just seems to get in the way.

So, what should we do?

Well, how about reading books written by those who have the understanding, those that have been driven to do the research and provides the information we seek explained in ways that we CAN understand? That makes a lot of sense, right? Well, that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Praise God!

My guest today is just such a person. David Fiensy has been on our program before a few years back. But he has written a new book, titled, “The Journey: Spiritual Growth in Galatians and Philippians.” I know you will get a lot out of this interview, so put on your seat belts and hold on!

Welcome back to the program, David Fiensy! David, thank you for coming back on the program to discuss your new book! Praise God!

For those that may have missed your last visit with us, other than that brief information I just shared, tell us in your own words, “Who is David Fiensy?”

Your book, “The Journey: Spiritual Growth in Galatians and Philippians,” is about Spiritual growth by studying just two of Paul’s letters. Why Galatians and Philippians?

This is not just a verse by verse outline. You dive into the deeper things of Spirituality, correct?

You say life is not about “walking the line,” so to speak, but about “hitting the road.” What do you mean by that?

Through your studies in writing this book, in your opinion, how did Paul’s life, all the up’s down’s and side-ways events that happened to him, influence his walk with God?

One famous verse, if I could call it that, is from Galatians  that say, “I’ve been crucified with Christ.” But we know he was not physically crucified. What was Pauling saying and trying to get us to understand with that statement?

We know Paul suffered many, many things. Too many to even try to comprehend it in our modern lifestyle and culture. How did going through all of this bring meaning to his Faith?

Why did you write this book at this time? What led you to believe this day and time in which we live right now is when this book needs to be shared?

How can your readers apply what they are reading and learning to their everyday life?

David, this is all so fascinating. How can someone get a copy of your book, “The Journey: Spiritual Growth in Galatians and Philippians?” Is it on Amazon?

And if someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question or maybe to do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can they get in touch with you?

Folks, in this day and hour in which we live, you need to understand the deep, Biblical meanings of some of the things we experience on a daily basis. Sometimes, it seems like we are facing an uphill battle each and every step. But if you will take what David Fiensy has put together in this great book, “The Journey: Spiritual Growth in Galatians and Philippians,” will find meaning behind it all.

This book will give you the Wisdom and Encouragement to “keep on keeping on.” Amen!

About the Podcast

Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast
Awakening the Church for the Great Harvest one message at a time
Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast is a Bible-centered program devoted to helping believers understand Scripture, discern the times, and faithfully navigate the spiritual, historical, and prophetic crossroads confronting the Church and the world.

Hosted by TS Wright (an author, biblical scholar, and Apostolic and Prophetic Teacher) each episode explores biblical theology, church history, prophecy, apologetics, Israel, world events, visions, dreams, and the unfolding purposes of God. By connecting the ancient truths of Scripture with the challenges of the present age, Kingdom Cross Roads offers thoughtful teaching and meaningful conversations designed to strengthen faith, sharpen spiritual discernment, and deepen understanding of the Kingdom of God.

The podcast examines the teachings and declarations of Jesus Christ, the messages to the seven churches in Revelation, the historical development of Christianity, the prophetic significance of nations and empires, and the spiritual condition of the modern Church. Episodes also explore influential biblical figures, overlooked historical events, ancient Jewish and Christian writings, and the remarkable ways in which Scripture, history, and prophecy intersect.

Kingdom Cross Roads is for listeners who desire more than surface-level inspiration. It is for those seeking serious biblical instruction, reliable historical context, prophetic insight, and a clearer understanding of where the Church has been, where it stands today, and where it may be headed.

At every crossroads, truth matters. Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast calls believers to search the Scriptures, discern the hour, remain faithful to Jesus Christ, advance the Kingdom of God, and prepare for what lies ahead.

"Now go forth in total surrender to the ONE who owns and reigns over all of creation and let the Great Harvest, begin!"

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.
