Have you noticed how far society and our culture has fallen in recent years? Not quite the “Leave it Beaver” generation anymore, is it?

How many times have you seen the news reports of someone doing something so despicable that you hear comments like, “That’s evil” or “They must be demon possessed” or something similar.

Though I agree in more ways than we have time to go into today, the question is, “How did they become demon possessed?” “Why are they doing things so evil?”

To help us delve into that realm today, I have a very special guest who was drifting into that realm of reality, through something that many people often listen to and participate in. I’m not going to spoil it here, as I would like Pastor Joe Shimmel to explain it for us. But I’m telling you right now, this is an interview you will want to pay particular attention to and share amongst your family, friends and co-workers, as he is going to pull back the cover and be discussing things happening right in your own home and you are not even aware of it…

Pastor Joe Shimmel is the senior pastor of Blessed Hope Chapel in Simi Valley, California. His background is one that many teenagers in the 1970’s followed, myself included, as we seemed to fall into the “sex, drugs and rock and roll” mentality. It was about as far as we could get from serving the Lord at that time, my life included.

Although I was beginning to dabble in the occult and hard rock as a teenager, the military actually served to prevent from following the same path Pastor Joe ended up on…

That being said, let’s jump into the program!

Pastor, thank you for taking the time to join us today! I do appreciate it…

Revelation 12:11 says we conquer sin and Satan’s plans by the Blood of the Lord and the Word of our testimony…  I’d like to talk with you about your testimony. I’ve listened to it. I’ve talked with Doug Stebleton  about it, and I definitely wanted to get you on the program to share your testimony with our listeners. I know there are many people who will be able to relate to the things we will be talking about today…

But before we do that, the first question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Joe Shimmel?”

So, you started off listening to and then writing your own lyrics to music. What first got you interested in delving into that realm and how did the occult work its way through that to you?

The Bible has spelled out many words that we use in demonic references, such for cuttings, drugs and serving demonic beings, correct? Can you give us some examples, like Dungeons and Dragons, etc.?

Folks, as I stated in the beginning, this is not new. It’s been going on since the Garden of Eden if you want to get technical about it. The devil does not have anything new up his sleeve. He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. His tactics are as well. But our God is also the same yesterday, today and forevermore. And Jesus has defeated the devil and all that are with him.

Hello. My name is TS Wright, and I am the voice of the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and author/TV host of the God Centered Concept.

For the past 33 years I have been involved in Christian ministry. Ranging from ministry, teaching and coaching in both public and private high schools and college, I have worked with students, athletes and adults from all walks of life. I have been involved with a host of Christian organizations included but not limited to CRU, FCA and other outreach & church affiliated ministries. Also being ordained in Christian ministry and being both a biblical and historical scholar I have focused on Discipleship, Biblical truth, prophecy & historical theology. I have also authored 4 books, a journal and a devotional series which are all now in the editing phase.

In 2003 and 2004 the Lord cast a series of visions on my life as to what would become the God Centered Concept.

In 2016, the Lord called me to start writing.

In 2019, He cast another series of visions that has led me to now.

In 2023, I was led to starting Podcasting and through divine intervention found Pastor Bob. I became a frequent guest speaker on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast and being led by the Lord I have taken ownership of the Podcast.

I welcome all of you who are a part of the Kingdom Cross Roads community as well as everyone who is just joining our community as we continue to work to advance the Gospel and spark a Great Harvest.
